L is for Lightwell
- So this building has gaps in it.
- Lightwells. Shafts built into the structure to let light into the interior. Means rooms can have windows, even in the depths of the structure.
- But they're dark.
- Ah yes. There is that.
- I mean, they actually suck the light out of the room.
- That's what the curtains are for.
- But even at midday no light gets in. They're just dark, dank places.
- Architecture, eh?
